- Police check SA Health require that all employees, volunteers and students on placements who will be in contact with children, young people, vulnerable adults and recipients of Aged Care Services to comply with State and National legislation requiring them to have a valid criminal history screening check.

- Applicants must also, within 10 working days after submitting the SATAC application, submit a document signed under Common Seal from an incorporated Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander organisation in the community from which the applicant originates or is recognised, confirming that the applicant is recognised by that community.
- Where applicants are unable to provide a document signed under Common Seal they may provide a Statutory Declaration to SATAC confirming the applicant is of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Island descent.
- In order to complete this degree, students will need to fulfil placement requirements to undertake compulsory field placements.
- Rural and remote subquota This degree is only available to applicants eligible under the rural and remote subquota.
- To be considered, you must apply to SATAC in the normal way.
- You must also, within 10 working days after submitting your application, submit a Statutory Declaration to SATAC confirming that you currently reside in rural and remote areas of Australia (Remoteness Classifications RA2 to RA5).
- In addition, the Statutory Declaration must confirm that you have lived in rural and remote areas of Australia (Remoteness Classifications RA2 to RA5) for at least five consecutive years, or ten years cumulatively, from birth.
- This is assessed based on your primary residential address.
- You can check your eligibility in accordance with the definition above using the Australian Government's Health Workforce Locator .

- UniTEST: If you are completing an Australian Year 12 qualification this year, uniTEST is available to enhance your chances of getting into this course.
- We will select students based on Year 12 results combined with uniTEST performance.
- If you take the test and dont do so well, dont worry, we will only consider your ATAR Selection Rank.
- If you have studied at higher education level for a total of more than two years, you are not eligible to use your year 12 results.
- Higher Ed Completed or partially completed a recognised higher education program at a recognised higher education institution, or Completed a University Foundation Studies, Bridging or Enabling program If you have studied at higher education level in the last two years, you must not have accumulated more than a total of two full-time years of higher education study in order to use your bridging program results.
- Work-Life Other Completed a non-recent SACE or equivalent secondary education qualification with a competitive selection rank, including the International Baccalaureate Diploma (IB), or STAT multiple choice test.
- Can be combined with a Personal Competencies Statement and/or employment experience.
- If you have studied at higher education level in the last two years, you must not have accumulated more than a total of two full-time years of higher education study in order to use your STAT results.
- VET Completed an award from a registered training organisation at Certificate III level or above.
