  • General Mathematics, Mathematical Methods or Specialist Mathematics (Units 3 and 4, C) | Students must complete 80 Days of mandated, supervised professional experience placements in educational contexts as continuous, full-time blocks to meet teacher accreditation requirements in Australia. Students must also undergo a criminal history check and obtain a Suitability Card as required by relevant jurisdictions before the first professional experience placement. For successful completion of all initial teacher education courses, students are required to demonstrate they have met mandatory approved benchmarks in both literacy and numeracy, evidenced through LANTITE (Literacy and Numeracy Test for Initial Teacher Education). If you have not met the standard for either component after your first attempt, it is very important that you contact the Course Coordinator immediately to discuss your options.
